My name is Carrol Miller and I'm a senior at MSU Denver. I transferred last fall from Naropa University and am studying Philosophy with an individual studies minor in East Asian Studies.Since I haven't taken any science sources yet and need 6 credits for that requirement. I have found, This summer, two great courses, both online dealing with environmental science; "Introduction to Environmental Science" and "Global Climate Change". The environment is something I have strong feelings about but little knowledge.This summer should help change that situation; at least it will let me know, what it is about the environment that I find so compelling.
I am looking forward to this process of blogging about the environment and imagine that it will turn out even better than expected. The country that I will be blogging about is Taiwan or the "Republic of China", as opposed to the "Peoples Republic of China" on the mainland. Taiwan is an island off the southeast section of mainland China in east Asia. I have recently learned a bit about Taiwan from a history course I took last fall.
